Overview
FilmCraft is ArtCraft's open source video editor. It has source and program monitors, a timeline, trim tools, color grading, effects, and audio mixing in desktop builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux.
About
FilmCraft brings the usual editing workspace to a local desktop app. You can review clips in source and program monitors, cut on a timeline, use familiar trim modes, add effects and keyframes, grade color, and mix audio. The project says its codecs are written in Rust rather than bundled through FFmpeg.
ArtCraft offers installers for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Try it with your own footage and export settings before planning a full edit around it. The main ArtCraft lineup does not list a supported browser version for FilmCraft.
