About
möbius is a workspace for running coding agents through a gateway you manage or the optional möbius Cloud. Create Bots with their own model, instructions, tools, and approval rules, then return to the same conversations and workspaces from a terminal, Mac, iPhone, or iPad.
The open-source Rust gateway stores conversations and workspace state, schedules recurring tasks, and can delegate focused work to subagents. Self-host the gateway on a machine you manage, or use Cloud to keep your workspace available when your own computer is off. You can connect a supported model provider or use the AI usage included with Cloud.
The core runtime and terminal client are open source under Apache-2.0. The native Mac and iOS apps are maintained in separate private repositories. Self-hosted remote access requires the gateway machine to stay reachable. The Mac app requires macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon, and the iPhone and iPad app is currently available through TestFlight.
